Tier: Professional, Enterprise
Customized Search results allow Customers to bring key programs to the top of relevant search results. These may be trusted programs, partners, or your organization’s own programs. Programs can also be hidden search results.
Customers can have up to three tiers of featured programs, each with its own label and help text. Top tier featured programs will appear at the top of search results and will be sorted among the programs that have the same label.
By default, programs will be sorted by Relevance, but a user can choose to sort by Distance instead. Sorting happens within each group of featured programs. Non-featured programs will appear below and will be sorted by relevance.
Customers decide which programs should be featured on their site by using your Customized Search Results tool, located in the Site Tools dropdown.
Setting Up Customized Search Results
Work with your Customer Success Manager to identify how you want to feature programs. You may have up to three tiers. You may choose the label on the program, as well as the help text. Once your Customer Success Manager sets your fields, your Site Administrator can feature programs using the Customized Search Results tool.
First, you'll need to identify the programs that you would like to feature. You'll need the program card URL or provider list URL to use in the tool.
Accessing the Tool
Site Administrators access the Customized Search Results tool from their “Site Tools” menu.
Featuring or Hiding Programs
In the tool, Site Administrators paste the Aunt Bertha URL for the program or provider into the “Treat program listings for” field, and select which score the program(s) should have.
Managing your Featured Programs
Featured programs can be searched for using the search box on the right.
To change a program’s score, select the drop down. To remove a score, click “Remove” next to the program.
Make sure to use the program or provider URL, not the search URL
- You can get the appropriate link by clicking on the name of the program or the organization on the program card.
The program URL will only feature that specific program. The provider list URL will feature all programs for that organization at once.
Note: This will only add the programs that are associated with the provider at the time. If additional programs are added at a later date, the Site Administrator will need to go back to the tool and add the new programs or re-submit the provider URL to feature the new programs.
