Simple Search Boxes

A higher education institution initially provided links to their Aunt Bertha platform on two relevant pages across their college’s site. They provided messaging through student newsletters at launch and in new student packets at launch, resulting in modest adoption. Analysis of their site traffic found students were not often accessing the site through the links on various pages. During the end of the 4th month after launch, the institution changed site links to Aunt Bertha’s Simple Search Boxes and added two additional access points on other relevant pages. Using search boxes instead of links resulted in dramatically increased traffic from the college’s site to their Aunt Bertha platform, increasing community adoption by close to 800%.
